YOUR GOTR GIRL’S LEARNING JOURNEY: AT HOME AND BEYOND
In Lessons 13–20 of Bold Heart, your child will continue strengthening their Bold Heart by learning how to support others, work together, and make a meaningful impact in their community.
They’ll begin by exploring empathy, understanding why it’s important to care about others’ feelings and practicing ways to show empathy in their everyday interactions.
Next, in Amplify, your child will learn what it means to lift up what’s inside someone else’s heart, practicing how to support and elevate the voices of other Bold Hearts.
They’ll then focus on teamwork, using a teamwork tool to collaborate effectively and ensure all voices are heard while working toward a shared goal.
In Lessons 16–18, your child will turn their focus outward to their Bold Heart Community. They’ll identify the people and places that make up their community, consider what’s inside the hearts of others, and learn that they can make a difference, even with limited resources. They’ll apply these lessons by completing a Community Impact Project and reflecting on and celebrating their efforts both individually and as a team.
In Lesson 19, Bold Hearts Forever, your child will reflect on their season, recognizing how much they’ve grown and how their Heart Power has developed.
Finally, in Lesson 20, they’ll revisit their GOTR Toolbox, reflecting on the season and reviewing the tools they’ve learned to carry their Bold Heart forward beyond the program.
